MY LIL ROLLIE POLLIE!!!

My baby boy is now two months old! The time is really going by too fast. The last couple of weeks have been rough because he had his nights and days mixed up, but it's been better the last two nights. He has started smiling, cooing, blowing spit bubbles and saying what sounds like the letter g. His cute lil cheeks have really filled out and I'm happy that I am still able to breastfeed. He hates the car seat so it's been difficult to travel anywhere because he gets really upset in the seat. He has a dr. appt. for thursday to get his shots and I am so curious to see how much he weighs. He is quickly growing out of his three month old clothes and I need to go do some shopping for him, but not sure how to manage that since he hates his car seat! I am treasuring every moment because they don't stay in this baby stage for very long!

IT'S A BOY!!!!

Kaden Lane was born September 2, 2009!!! He weighed 8lbs. and was 21" long. His big brother Brendon loves him, they are just chilling in the hospital.

His big sister Kortlin loves him and is excited to be big sister again!

OUR NEW BABY!!!

On wednesday morning I went to the dr. and was dilated to 8 so he sent me directly to the hospital to break my water and just a few minutes and two pushes later out came our baby BOY yes I said BOY and it was supposed to be a girl according to our dr. and two ultrasounds! Then my mind started racing with oh no I don't have a single thing for him to wear to go home and everything I have at home is pink!! Oh well family came through and bought him clothes and we are home and doing well and I will load pics as soon as I can catch my breath!!!!

37 weeks!!

I went to the dr. on wednesday and was dilated to a 4 so doc is making me go back tommorrow morning and I know he will try to persuade me to induce, but I just don't want to have this baby that way!!! I to go into labor on my own when my body and baby girl are ready not on doc's time! So it's almost eleven at night and I'm wide awake because my nerves are so rattled over this, because I tend to give nto what other people want to easily. I mentioned to my hubby that I would really like to shampoo all the carpets and clean the house from top to bottom before having this lil one and this morning he came home with the machine and started doing it!!! What a wonderful hubby!! I hate carpet and so look forward to our new home with no carpet and only wood and tile floors! Also I'm still waiting for my car seat cover. I also decided to go with the aqua damask with white minky and striped bedding I posted about earlier and have painted the baby dresser and will post pics up soon.

36 WEEKS!!!!!!!

Yesterday I went for a check up and this lady in the lobby felt she had to tell me I must be having a 12lb baby and the doctor would have to take it from me. I was so upset I told her please don't say things like that, and not to mention the office was full of people all listening to what she was telling me! By the time I got in the exam room and the doc and nurse asked how I was doing I just started crying and couldn't even talk, finally I told them and doc says that's just someone showing their ignorance, but lately everywhere I go some stranger is making a comment that I must be having twins or how huge I am, I wish people would just stop and realize how it makes a pregnant woman feel when you tell her these things. She already has to look in the mirror everyday and can clearly see how large her growing belly has become and wonders just how big will the baby become by the time she has to give birth! Then my daughter and I went to have lunch together and two older gentlemen just wouldn't stop staring at me and eventually one told me that I looked miserable and when was I going to have this baby. What bothered me the most was the looking miserable part because I had taken time to style my hair, put on my jewelry, and dressed in my nicest maternity outfit so that was the last thing I wanted to hear! Oh well guess that's enough venting for today! My doc says I need to stay off my feet so this baby will stay put for two more weeks so I'm relaxing in the recliner and planning to read alot of good blogs!!!

I took the style test at sproost.com three times and every time it says I am 100% Nantucket style. I never even thought of that as my style, but I love the way those rooms feel so welcoming to me. Now I'm wondering if it's okay to have more of that style in my home that we are hopefully soon to build even though we don't live anywhere near the beach or water?
