Finally I have a mantle, but can't decide to stain or paint after all the decisions while building. I've looked at tons of pictures with both finishes, but still just can't decide!
All my items on my mantle are just things I had around the house already. The pumpkins were last year clearance that I painted. My sweet neighbor let me cut some of her bush for my vase and even my husband contributed with some of his deer antlers. Happy Fall to all!
Beautiful! I love your stone fireplace! Your mantel looks great! I can imagine it painted white as well as being stained a dark walnut. They would both look wonderful! I can see why you are having trouble deciding!
