So I haven't posted in quite some time!!! I've just been so busy I didn't know how to fit it in, with taking care of my very energetic boys and starting a new job which I was offered and just couldn't pass up!!! But, I have to say I am really missing being at home with my baby boy!!! He turned one on the fourth of September and I had so much fun planning his party. My husband's new garage was finished just in time!
I hate that I still forget that my pics upload backwards!!! ugh!!! Here is my baby boy enjoying some ice! Don't you just love the blue and red for a baby boy party!!!

More house talk!!!
These are pics from the online website that I found our houseplan. This is someone elses ideas and I can't wait to see all my ideas put together on this home!! I love all the craftsman details, the big chunky posts, the stone, the cedar shake siding( at least I think that's what you call it). Although I want some color on my home and If I stain the posts they will be a darker expresso or walnut stain, that's actually one of the things I can't decide on stain the posts or paint them?
And oh how I dream of family pics on those gorgeous front porch steps and can't wait for some decorating for the fall I could just see pumpkins and mums going up to steps welcoming all our family and friends!

I am also having a hard time deciding on the exterior color a light shade of green or a light shade of beige??? I think I want to do all the trim in a creamy white shade and the windows I will probably stick to white. I plan to do the shutters as well and I am thinking of staining those the expresso or walnut. Well enough dreaming for today!

IT'S A DOOR!
oh how I love the crafstman style homes!! I found this door that I'm loving. It's going to be a hard decision between this one and the others I have posted about previously. What would I do without the internet for inspiration!!! This is where I found it! By George I think I'm getting the hang of things in this blog world!

Just life!
I haven't posted in awhile been busy with all things of life! My baby is now 5 months old and now for 3 months I've doing the weight watcher plan and lost a total of 11.8lbs so far, but still have to loose 43lbs more to be back to prepregnancy size, guess that's what happens when you have 2 babies within 2 years at my age!
We also had plans to build our home last year, but life happened and those plans got pushed to this year hopefully, but meanwhile I am researching and making my decisions on all things like countertops, cabinets, paint colors, etc.... I really want my new home to have some character and feel like it's been there for a long time. I want to walk in my home and feel giddy!! I won't worry about pleasing other people this time and just go with what looks amazing to my eye.
I'm having a hard time deciding on countertops, I really don't care for the heavy shine I have seen on granite so far, but love the look of stone and the squared off edges. I can't wait to go see some in person, but my baby has been sick with RSV so I've been confined to the house for now! I think I will also look at quartz. I think I saw some somewhere called Ivory Coast. I have yet to learn how to insert a link for things that I have found!
I also really want to use this blog to remind me of what was going on in my life and with my children so I must add that Kaden is now 5months old and says da da quite often. Brendon is just a few weeks away from being 3 and loves to go hogging mug(as he would say) with his battery powered John Deere. Kortlin is 12 and she just loves this new singer Justin Bieber!
So far today that all folks!! I hope to get better at this blogging thing and can't wait to post things with my new home as the happen!!!
